Every other year in September in a small town near here, called Marostica, they have a musical and dancing production played out in a game of chess. It started in WWI when members of the local chess club played a game of chess with real people as the game pieces. After WWII, the comedy writer, Vucetich Mirko wrote a play incorportating this live chess game. The play today involves lots of music, dancing, fire works and fun! A big group of us girls went out to see what this chess game was all about…
