One weekend we all took a trip to the Hot Water Beach and Coromandel. It was a great day!!
The Hot Water Beach has hot springs underneath and the water comes up through the sand. When the tide is low, you can dig holes, the water will come up through the sand, and you have made yourself a hot tub!
We put David and Tim in charge of digging our hole/hot tub.

They actually invited us to sit in their hole.

You could feel the hot water by just sticking your feet under the sand a few inches. It hurt.

Coromandel Beach is where Cathedral Cove is located. I have to say it is the most beautiful sandy beach I have ever been to. It was in the movie 'The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.'
Here is the beach from a distance. We had to hike to get there.
